The grid below is not a fantasy roadmap. These are the parts Marian Apps routinely configures for private clinics that need plain booking software without a call-centre-style platform.

Specimen B01, public-facing appointment shelf with clinic-approved availability.
Awkward limit: it cannot invent clean appointment rules. If every exception is unwritten, set-up slows down.
Specimen B02, active calendars for clinicians, rooms and shared equipment.
Awkward limit: a calendar is not a person. Locum cover still needs a named rule.
Specimen R01, reminder queue with message timing and clinic wording.
Awkward limit: sharp wording reduces no-shows better than more reminders.
Specimen W01, earlier-slot queue for patients who can move at short notice.
Awkward limit: the first suitable patient is not always the first name on the list.
Specimen P01, deposits for selected appointments, with visible exceptions.
Awkward limit: deposits help with attendance but can make a clinic feel like a shop if applied blindly.
Specimen B03, repeat booking patterns for physiotherapy, counselling and review clinics.
Awkward limit: it will not keep a repeating slot open forever without an end rule.

Awkward limit: room names need to match the names staff actually use.

Awkward limit: dirty CSVs are not software problems until someone chooses the right version of the patient.

Awkward limit: Marian Apps does not make triage decisions or prescribing logic.

Awkward limit: export format must be agreed before it becomes a weekly habit.

Awkward limit: shared logins are not supported for live clinics.
Specimen A03, record of booking edits, cancellations and staff overrides.
Awkward limit: an audit log tells you what changed, not why the rule was wrong.
